Vårdcentralen Åhus is the healthcare center with a big heart. We are an accredited health care unit and have a medical clinic, district nurse clinic, elderly care clinic, diabetes clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, assistant-led clinics, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, child health care, social worker, and dietitian. We offer advice and support to a nursing home as well as to municipal home care.

We are a medium-sized healthcare center with about 25 employees. Our ambition is to provide the best possible service and high-quality care to our approximately 8,200 registered patients. The unit has a long tradition as a training unit characterized by a good working climate and a clear spirit of development. In the future, we also see that Vårdcentralen Åhus will merge with Vä, which will become a branch of Åhus. An opportunity that will expand the medical staff and increase collaboration.

Geographically, you will find Vårdcentralen Åhus between the sea and the forest, while also being close to Kristianstad. It is easy to reach us by public transport.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who wants to work at a healthcare center with a developed structure and clear treatment guidelines. With us, you will have a varied job where you can fully utilize your specialist competence through tasks at our district doctor clinic and child health care.

Here you will be offered good development opportunities with continuous internal and external training based on interest and in line with the needs of the business. You will be involved and driving in improvement work and business development. The development of mobile doctor support is ongoing and included in the position.

You will also work with home visits, supervision of training doctors, advice and support for municipal nurses, specialist nurses, and our special housing. The position may offer the opportunity to work in on-call services during evening and weekend clinics in Kristianstad.

We encourage side assignments such as AKO work, participation in drug councils, quality work, and similar, as we consider it enriching for the business and positive for the work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in general medicine. Furthermore, you have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. A valid B driver's license is also necessary as travel in the service occurs.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and child health care. It is beneficial if you are used to using various operational systems, especially the medical record systems PMO, Pascal, and other systems commonly used in primary care. Using IT support such as 1177 increases patient safety and contributes to faster communication with the patient.
